How the scam works
- You 'won' a giveaway you never entered, or see an impossible offer.
- Claiming requires you to log in on a fake site, pay a 'release fee', or invite friends.
- Every step either harvests your credentials or spreads the scam further.
Red flags
- Prizes from contests you never entered
- 'Claim fees' for winnings — real prizes never ask you to pay
- Free Robux/V-Bucks generators — none exist, ever
- Referral chains that only benefit the poster
What to do
- Ask one question: did I enter this? No — then it is fake.
- Never log in or pay to receive a prize.
- Report the message so fewer people see it.
