Terms of Service

1. What TrustCheck is

TrustCheck analyzes messages, links, email headers, screenshots and Discord user trust signals to estimate whether something looks like a scam. It provides guidance, not guarantees. A "low risk" result is never a certificate of safety.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not use TrustCheck to harass, defame or falsely report others.
• Do not submit content you have no right to submit, or attempt to overload the service.
• Do not use the service where it is illegal under your local law.

3. The Discord bot

The bot may be added to any Discord server by someone with permission to add bots there. Server owners can remove it at any time. Abuse of the report system (false or mass reporting) may result in reports being disregarded and, in future versions, reporting privileges being restricted.

4. No warranty

TrustCheck is provided "as is" during its beta phase, without warranties of any kind. Detection is probabilistic: scams evolve daily and both false positives and false negatives will occur. Never rely solely on TrustCheck for financial or account-security decisions — always verify through official channels.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the TrustCheck developer is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from use of the service, including losses caused by scams that were not detected or actions taken based on a verdict.

6. Changes

These terms may change as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
